Services - Atlas, i.e. the first cervical vertebra, or C1

Atlas, i.e. the first cervical vertebra, or C1

affects the flow of blood to the head, pituitary gland, facial bones, brain, inner and middle ear, and the sympathetic nervous system (which is closely related to spinal cord in the cervical, thoracic and lumbar parts). Atlas can misalign as early as at birth,  when the baby comes into the world under pressure through a narrow opening with its head bent at its neck. Approximately 80% of population lives with a misaligned atlas.

Possible symptoms of a misaligned atlas: headache, nervousness, insomnia, sinusitis, high blood pressure, migraine headache, nervous breakdown, memory loss, chronic fatigue, dizziness, motor impairment, scoliosis and various degenerative changes in the musculoskeletal system.

The atlas realignment is based on unlocking the tension of the short neck muscles by means of a special massage, which ensures that the atlas has the optimum conditions to return to the desired position. Then, gentle impulses are applied to the misaligned side of the atlas (by means of a special activator) so that the vertebra gradually gets back to its original position. This therapy triggers a self-healing process, which can last longer. Therefore, it is important to keep loosening the neck muscles so that they gradually and elastically adjust to the new re-established position of C1, in order to avoid another misalignment.

At a time when Europe was still in the process of developing its first individual healing procedures, and when the picture of how the human organism worked was largely unclear, China had long ago developed a comprehensive therapeutic system.  Its quality and effectiveness in treating the human body have been verified by hundreds of generations of Chinese doctors.

The traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and its methods of diagnosis and treatment are also becoming more popular in the West, including Slovakia. Although sometimes presented as an alternative medicine along with some other natural healing approaches, it is in fact a coherent system of a holistic view of man and his health, diagnosis and treatment of diseases that can usefully complement the diagnostic and treatments applied in the Western medicine. Elaborated and complex diagnoses according to traditional Chinese medicine (differential diagnosis, pulse diagnosis, tongue diagnosis), together with its treatment methods such as phytotherapy (herbal therapy), acupuncture, acupressure, moxibustion, massage (Tui Na, Gua Sha, cupping), dietetics and exercises (Qi-Gong, Tai-Qi) were created, researched and systematically recorded in the imperial courts years ago and represented the best in the field of good lifestyle and disease treatment for the most important representatives of the Chinese Empire.

Traditional Chinese medicine can accelerate regeneration and help recover faster from injuries and surgeries, severe conditions, stroke, induce psychological stability and eliminate the consequences of a stressful lifestyle, balance the body and improve the quality of life.

Diagnosis duration: ca 2 hours
